• An enquiry (the form on the home page, a project page or a unit page): your name, one way to reach you, your message, the page you were on and when. It goes to the Vika Thai sales team so that somebody can answer it. The consent sentence you tick is stored with the enquiry, word for word, together with its version.
• A job application (/careers): your name, one contact, the role you want and a few words. It is read by the people who hire, and only by them.

Into this site’s own database, on a server operated for Vika Thai Co., Ltd. An enquiry is also passed to the sales team’s work channel, as the consent line says. Nothing is sold, and nothing is handed to a third party for their own advertising.

• vt_attr — set only when you arrive through an advertising link, holds the campaign tags of that link for 90 days so the enquiry can be matched to the advert. No name, no address, no page history.
• vt-themeand your saved shortlist live in your browser’s own storage and never leave it.
• Google Analytics runs with consent denied by default: until you have granted it, it sets no advertising or analytics cookies.
• A sign-in cookie exists only for staff of Vika Thai; visitors never receive one.

An enquiry is kept for 3 years from the day it arrives, and a job application for 3 years, after which the record and the contact details in it are removed. If you ask us to delete yours earlier, we do — see below.

One exception, and it is the law rather than our preference: if your enquiry became a contract or an invoice, it is part of an accounting record we are required to keep, and it stays for 5 years. We keep the record, not a marketing list — you will not be contacted from it.

When a record goes, the note of your consent stays: the wording you agreed to, its version and the day. It no longer holds your name or your number, only a fingerprint that lets us answer “did you have my consent?” if you ever ask. Keeping the evidence is how we can prove we were allowed to write to you, and destroying it would leave us unable to answer for our own past.

You can ask what we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or withdraw the consent you gave with an enquiry. Write to info@vikathai.com from the address you used, and we will answer from the same record.
